Alpine Canada’s “Got Big Sound?” contest showcases consumer Car Audio with great Maple Leafs Prizes.

OCTOBER 10, 2014

Alpine Canada is pleased to announce the winners of their “Got Big Sound?” contest. The contest was designed to showcase the inspiring individuality of consumer customized installations across Canada that feature Alpine components as part of their overall car audio system. Between March 17th and August 31st, participants were asked to submit their photos and videos of their vehicles to the Alpine Canada ‘Share Your Ride’ gallery on Alpine-Canada.com. Many enthusiasts from coast-to-coast answered the call for submissions. Judges from Performance Auto and Sound Magazine (PASMag) deliberated over the submissions and came to a unanimous decision for the Grand Prize winner.

The Grand Prize ‘Ultimate Toronto Maple Leafs Experience’ includes two suite-level tickets to a 2014-2015 Toronto Maple Leafs game as well as a meet-and-greet with Toronto Maple Leafs Centre Tyler Bozak. The Grand Prize was awarded to David Scotto of Concord, Ontario. David proved his passion for big sound and wowed the judges with his tricked out Bombadier Snowmobile, dubed “The Ultimate Leafs / Alpine Ride for Winter”. Scotto’s blue and white die-hard fan sled is dedicated to ice fishing off the shores of Lake Simcoe and provides great sound to liven up a crisp Canadian winter day.

Second Prize, an autographed Tyler Bozak Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey and Performance Auto and Sound Magazine Gift Pack, was awarded to Joe Macri of Brampton, Ontario. Joe’s ride featured an awe inspiring customization of his 2002 Lexus IS300 with a custom fiberglass trunk to hold his Alpine gear. Monthly prizes, consisting of five sets of Toronto Maple Leafs NHL Headphones signed by Tyler Bozak, were also awarded to users who uploaded their photos and videos to the Share Your Ride gallery.
